WELCOME to our Blog on ITALY! The class is Sustainable Agriculture  
This course is intended to provide students with an introduction to sustainable agriculture, while learning how the acquisition and preparation of foods have shaped the Italian culture. Both on campus and “in the Field” students will study the meaning of common dietary concepts, foods nutritional and economic value and components, and the ways in which the peoples, culture and economics of Italy have adopted and thrived. 

The students will be contributing to this site while we are here at Elmira College and away for three weeks in Italy.
